[Solved] NE1 have success with MT Userman + Open-mesh OM1Ps?

I’m currently having trouble with the OM1P as it’s redirecting traffic to the login page, but nothing shows up and then it reloads and reloads and reloads…

I got the setup working for 1 day, then it took down the whole hotspot setup to where the server couldn’t be found. I had to system reset and restore a backup, but I’m in a foreign country where I can’t buy replacements and all I have are these OM1Ps that aren’t working just right all the time.

For it to be working for a day, means that it can work, just need to figure out how. Any suggestions? Anyone?

with current stable firmware something was messing up with the open-mesh device doing it’s own NAT/DHCP, so to let MT do it:

  1. flash open-mesh device with beta-ng firmware r277
  2. under advanced uncheck Gateway LAN block
  3. SSID#2: check enable + check bridge
  4. IP → Hotspot → walled garden list → dst. host = add “dev.open-mesh” → dst. port = 80
  5. IP → Hotspot → walled garden list → dst. host = add “checkin.open-mesh” → dst. port = 80
