SOLVED rc6 - Anyone having DHCP Relay and hotspot DHCP probs

Just wondering if anyone is having problems with:

DHCP Relay issuing responses to clients? In stats, they show Requests received, but no responses issued.

Hotspot DHCP not responding to clients?

I have removed and re-added the DHCP Relays to all interfaces, with no luck.
I have also completely removed and re-added a new hotspot configuration using the wizard in Winbox to see if that helps.

I upgraded from 5.21/22 to RC6. DHCP Relay is for separate interfaces to the Hotspot interface.

If no one else is having problems, I will send an email to support.

hello i have the same problem ROS 6.06 forget it downgrade to 5.22

I’m just using the built in DHCP Server and disabled the Hotspot AP temporarily until it works again in the future.

ok, and you have not a problem with freeze in any time with RB1100AHx2

I do not have any RB1100AHx2 but I have 493G and 751U-2HnD. No freezing at all on them.

I sent a support request about the DHCP Relay problem to mikrotik the other day, and got a response today.

'Hello,

thank you for report. We can confirm that your observations are correct, dhcp-
relay feature is broken, we will fix this problem as soon as possible.’

I have not had time yet to do the same with the Hotspot problem, but will post when I have reported it.

Since the public release of v6RC7, these problems no longer exist. I shall therefore mark this as solved.
