[Solved] Wireless wire indoor use

Hi, I’m aware that Wireless Wire is to be used for line-of-sight links. However, I wonder if it’s usable indoors at all? Specifically, I’d like to know if I can set it as wireless media for HDMI extender in my flat. Would it work at a distance of 5-10 meters and through a couple of brick walls? Any practical experience?

Being as at 60Ghz oxygen is a fairly large problem I can’t imagine it’s going to work too well through brick walls. I don’t have any specs or results to back that up but I don’t think it is going to work brilliantly for you in this application.

This frequency needs a clear line of sight. It might sometimes work off reflections, since the antenna is beamforming, but through a wall it can’t work. Even thin ones.

Seems to be true based on the user feedback…

And Chineese folks can do the same for half the price.

“Same” if you’re not bothered about lack of ethernet ports, yeah.

How is it half, it is nearly the same price, especially when checking distributors (lower than list price)
