[Solved] WLAN Bridge - 2 VLANs

Hi Guys,

i´m using Mikrotik Routers for a long time but now i´m coming to a Point where i need support.

Setup:

  • RouterOS v7.5 (stable) on MikroTik hAP ac3
  • RouterOS v7.10 on RBwAP2nD - wAP

Two (Three) SSID:

  • Privat (CoreDi)
  • IOT (KordIot) - VLAN 5
( - Guest VLAN 14 (not needed for now) )

I want to extend the two Network (Garden) with the RBwAP2nD.

Everything is working on the ac3 including the VLANs. The Tags are going to “Ether1” which is connected to a Mikrotik Switch.
→ Screenshot “VLAN ac3”

On the (new) RBwAP2nD i have the Setup seen in the Screenshot, wlan1 is connected to the ac3 and is working for the Privat Network CoreDi.
Now i have added the Virtual WLAN KordiIot_test, and added everywhere VLAN 5 (Screenshot “1” und “2” und “3” JPG).
Also added everything to the Bridge (“4.jpg”).
Configured under Bridge → Ports KordIot with Tag 5 (see “6.jpg”.)
Configuration under Bridge → VLANs is seen in “5.jpg”.
On Bridge → Hosts i can see that my “Test Handy” is connecting with VID 5 on kordiot, but no connection :-/ .

It´s not working.. i don´t see any connect on my DHCP or Gateway. Handy is only complaining “No IP offered”.

Hopefully someone can help me here, i tried nearly every config but i can´t get it to work :frowning: .

Greetings,

Coredi

Update:

Solved, for others having same Problems:

Set on “Extended” Microtik:
VLAN ID 5 on Virtual Interface and on Bridge VLAN ID 5 Tagged for WLAN1.
→ Can see connect on DHCP / Gateway now but no response back.

For Back Channel i had to set on Main AP:
Already Set: Bridge VLAN ID 5 on ETHER1 (-> To Switch).
Added now VLAN ID 5 Tagged also on WLAN1 (for Back Channel).

Now everything is working  .

Greetings,

Coredi
