Some bugs and feature requests

I have used mikrotik RB2011 with rc6 for two days trying to configure it as home gateway, and found some strange moments..

Bugs:

  1. If I turn on DHCP client on WAN interface, it turns off PPPoE on this interface (as it seen from quickset page). I need both PPPoE tunneling and IP address to co-exist on WAN interface..
  2. When I fill client-id field in DHCP server static lease with something human-readable (i.e “my notebook”), it do not gives lease to me (“Use Src. MAC Address” checked).
  3. Design page: not all items becomes added to status page (i.e. status of PPPoE connection or PPPoE status from quickset page). I met more, but remembered only these two.
  4. When I removed some fields from status page, other items was rearranged between columns, so I got not what I expected.
  5. Status page has no icon in Webfig.
  6. Not all logins into router redirects me to status page as expected, only sometimes and not too often.
  7. LCD screen shows me traffic in grid with 50M as maximum possible value, but maximum registered speed is 10M. So, I see graph only in lower 1/4 of screen sometimes… no auto-rearrange of graphs (or it is broken). Same for bandwith graph for interfaces (webfig).

Feature request:

  1. Possibility to add to status screen some fields:
  • DHCP leases list
  • WLAN activity graph
  • PPPoE reconnect button (with status)
  • graphs from Graphs page
