Some but not all clients will drop.

Today it is cold, and icy and the temperature is about 25F on ground level. The tower is on a mountain and the relay is in a fairly large box 100 feet in the air.

The relay at times has gone completely off-line in the evenings and will return in the morning once the temperature rises and the sunlite hits the box.

So I feel that I need to install a heater or move the unit so that it is in a smaller enclosure and can stay warm.

But the just a little while ago it was 3pm still some what icy outside. I’m at home and connected to this relay. It has 50 customers on it. And my connection drops, I scan and do not see it. It returns momentary and then goes away again. And finally disappears.

So I jump in the car drive down the office to check on things. I log into the tower and i see that 20 people have been disconnected and the other 30 have been connected for several days. Everyone on the tower has a connection better than -85 in fact my home unit has a connection of -67.

The relay unit is running a 532a with two cards, xr2 and xr5 cards. (one for clients on 2.4 and the other for backbone at 5ghz).

What are your thoughts or something that I can examine to find out why those 20 people droped? And why from home I was not able to scan the signal even though others remained connected?

Thanks,
Michael
