I have the RB 433ah and a mini pci 8603 800mw the problem is that i can’t conect any client the thing is that the noise floor is -7x more less, I have changed all the configuration in the wlan and this dosen’t work. I’ve changed every chanel and this dosen’t work, I’m really bored about that because it’s a new product and this not work.
I have working the mini pci in 100mw and I never could have conet a client less than -70
did you connect the antenna connector to the correct miniPCI connection? is the antenna correctly aligned, and the polarization matches the one on the client antenna? what equipment is used at the client end, and what is the distance to the AP?
well, refer to minipci and connector yes i did. the client have a home anntena i mean when you make the anntena and a pci wireless encore. it is to 60 meter to the AP.
Other thing Do you think that many network near of my ap could cause interferences??? because I have used the scan aplication and I detect 58 network and 10 are with mikrotik too.
IMHO everything that engenius sells is complete garbage, the firmware is buggy and the os is always laggy and never updates in real time. Sorry guys at engenius i have tried almost every product you have and all of them even way back lack good sound engineering behind them.
You cant trust any of the readings that you get from those products, i have seen it tell me i had a -150 signal being right in front of the ap, thing is there is no such signal of -150. I find mikrotik matched with ubnt equipment to be far better solution than the others.
I use to use the engenius because of the cost, but losing customers due to crappy equipment doesnt justify itself
