hey,u gays.got some questions with HTB here.
i got a 192.168.1.0/24 network,and i want to use HTB,here are the rules,
/ip firewall mangle
add chain=forward src-address=192.168.1.0/24 connection-state=new action=mark-connection
new-connection-mark=ctnet
add chain=forward connection-mark=ctnet action=mark-packet new-packet-mark=ctnet passthrough=no
/queue queuetree
add parent=globle-out limit-at=256000 max-limit=512000 packet-marks=ctnet name=ctnet
add parent=globle-in limit-at=256000 max-limit=512000 packet-marks=ctnet name=ctnet
can every host in 192.168.1.0/24 get rate limit at (limit-at=256000 max-limit=512000 )?
or i have to mangle every host?
sorry for my poor english.
reply is appreciate.

Maybe I misunderstood the question?
I thought you were trying to rate limit a whole bunch of hosts with the limits applied per host each. If that’s the case, PCQ does that very easily without you having to create markers and queues for each possible host.

just want to use HTB.
HTB can use network resoures better.
anyway,thank you!
PCQ is scheduler for HTB, like FIFO, SFQ, etc.

The links I posted are the official manual pages for PCQ. Please read them first.
