some questions about virtualization in mt

Hi to all

Is there a way to use secondary disk as storage for image? I have primary disk as CF and secondary is some hard disk. If so how do I access it? I dont see it in /file
Maybe I must format it? Maybe on other os as ext2/ext3?

Is it possible to put windows 2003 server as guest os? If not that, maybe xp?

If not that, maybe debian? From here http://stacklet.com/downloads/images/debian/5.0 but I am still confused about how to put image…
thank you…

if you are talking about x86 XEN virtualisation, then to load OS, OS have to be XEN aware, thus, you cannot load anything that does not support XEN in its kernel and that includes any version of MS Windows. For linux images you have to be sure that kernel have built in or modules that support xen.

thank you for your reply, but I dont see answer to any of my questions
Can windows be xen aware os?

does anyone have any information about this?

Read his reply more carefuly:

you cannot load anything that does not support XEN in its kernel and that includes any version of MS Windows

ie. this means NO, windows can’t be used in Xen.
