Hello :slight_smile:

before i set up router on my main system i wanted to make some tests and some practice in configuration.

Cos i am scare that if i will set it up, and this will be first time when i do it, i might screw up something.

So i wanted to know if there any way how i could test it. Before i change my old router i want be sure that new one will be ok, and nothing wrong will not happen.

The main idea was to use 2 PCs. But i think its might not work :slight_smile:

Hi ,
i think installing ROS on a x86 with VMWare Workstation is a good idea , you can easily add routers , PCs
there are many videos on youtube about that

I like using CHR image in GNS3 to do my lab work. It’s quite useful, so long as you’re not trying to use the hardware switch features, or wlan interfaces.
