some websites won´t load (solved)

I thought i had setup my RB3011 correctly, but now i have strange problems, when trying to access several websites.

for example http://mediathek.daserste.de won’t load no matter what I do.

I thought it could be a wrong mtu, so I figured out the right value an set it under Interface Ethernet 1, which is my wan connecting with a static IP.

I than disabled all Firewall rules one by one. No Change…

Now I don´t no what else I could try. I would be happy for any advice.

Are you using PPPoE?

No, I read about problems concerning PPPoE.

Have you tested by connecting a PC direct to the ISP?

What are you using for local IP addresses? Is it within the RFC1918 address space?

10.0.0.0/8
172.16.0.0/12
192.168.0.0/16

Solved

@idlemind

by checking I found out, that netmask was configured incorrect. Instead of 255.255.255.248 it was 255.0.0.0

I don´t know, why it was set like this, but in the end who cares.
