Spam spam spam spam...

The spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans and spam doesn’t have much spam in it.

But today this forum does. Is Midsummer really a holiday in Latvia?

You can remove this post when you remove the other spam.

Midsummer celebrations is one of the most important holidays of the year in many countries.

@THG: That is how I found out about the holiday. I kinda figured that. While they are busy getting naked and dancing around the burning tree, just hand me the the axe (make me a forum moderator) and I’ll take care of these users.

Spam is really getting out of control on this forum - here is another idea - Have each new user pay a small fee to join the forum and when you purchase a Mikrotik product this small fee is refunded?

@n21roadie: This is not the first forum I have joined. The Arduino forum has the best spam prevention of the group. They enlist the voluntary services of their senior members to control this stuff when they are closed or unavailable. It works well.

I would agree to charging a fee if all other options fail.

The spammers have found a weak spot on this forum, free advertising for possibly 16hours weekdays and all of Saturday + Sunday and they are exploiting this?
Enlisting the voluntary services of senior forum members is a good idea but will Mikrotik adopt this solution?

The MikroTik staff has been very receptive to other proposals I have made. They recompiled the dhcp server for me in V6.1. If it doesn’t work right, that is my fault.

If you know a spammer, break his/her fingers. That makes it hard to type on a computer.

edit: I see you logged in saldong. This is aimed at YOU!!

+1. This is the worst I have seen it. Hell I’d even help to keep it cleaned up.

It would be great if you guys did not reply in these spam threads. Makes it harder to delete them.

I see, the thread is still there if someone responded to it.
