I have 2 branches A and B have same subnet connected together using Powerbeam ptp bridge
A- 192.168.0.1-100 ( has mikrotik router hotspot: 10.10.10.0)
B- 192.168.0.150-200 (has the internet modem 172.168.0.0)
Lan devices / internet modem <-------- network main switch <--B---- wireless PTP bridge ----A--> network main switch ----> to Lan devices / to Wan port mikrotik .
i already got internet connection into mikrotik for A branch from B branch , Now i want to connect like this :
Lan devices / internet modem <-------- network main switch <--B---- wireless PTP bridge ---A--- >directly to WAN port for internet ,second port to main switch for LAN resources
I want to connect branch B directly to mikrotik ,i want to go direct to (first port to give mikrotik internet and to allow clients in branch B to reach lan resources in network A using scorned port in mikrotik )
and the rest of the ports in mikrotik used for internet as hotspot only for A network .
what i mean is the second port in mikrotik to be in the same subnet range of the private network and isolated form the rest of the ports i need it only to go to main switch to work as private network as it was with direct to Mains switch shown above in the first topology .
why i want this ? i want to prevent any client in network A to be able to obtain ip address dynamically from modem in network B modem.
