Speed and Duplex Lockdown RB1100AHX2 - RB2011iL

I have been testing a couple of RB1100AhX2s in combination with RB2011iLS for Ethernet delivery through multi-tenant offices, and I find that I am unable to achieve Ethernet link when I attempt to lock down the ports to 1Gbps-Full Duplex. I have insured that the correct cabling and pinout are being used, and that the ports themselves are gigabit capable (As per the block diagrams). The moment I issue auto-negotiate=no speed=1Gbps full-duplex=yes to the interfaces on both ends; I lose link. If i set speed=100Mbps on both ends I regain link.

Change-out of cables have proved fruitless. I have used multiple RB1100AhX2s to be sure it was not a problem with that one unit, and I have attempted to use ports across each of the switch chips (on AhX2) and the gigabit ports on the RB2011iLS.

Is this issue happening to anyone else? Is there a workaround the problem outside of auto-negotiate?

EDIT: Corrected the RB2011 model. Also this only occurs when setting 1Gbps speed with no auto-negotiate. 100/10 works fine. 1Gbps however is still very important to the implementation.

I believe you might be confusing 1000BaseX and 1000BaseT. For 1000BaseT (copper) Auto-negotiation is mandatory. 1000BaseX (Fiber) does not require it.

100Mbit does not have this requirement either.
