Hi Everyone,
I have a small WISP and struggle to direct some traffic to go via a specific ADSL. I have read some forums now and it all came down to policy based routing. I’m not yet familiar with that. I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction. I have the following setup:
ISP1: 100.10.10.250/24
ISP2: 10.0.0.2/24
The two ADSL lines are going into a MT PC(X86)(Firewall). ISP1(100.10.10.250/24) is connected to 100.10.10.253/24 and
ISP2(10.0.0.2/24) is connected to 10.0.0.50/24
The MT PC(100.10.10.253/24) is also connected to my Radius server /Mail server(10.20.30.11/24) via 10.20.30.1/24
The MT PC(100.10.10.253/24) plugs into a switch and go out to my base station (100.10.10.1/24)
This have a default route of 0.0.0.0/0 GW: 100.10.10.253/24
Base Station(100.10.10.1/24) is my uplink to my first repeater and is connected WLAN1: 100.10.12.1/24(MIMO) for repeater1(100.10.12.2/24)
Repeater1 has a default route of 0.0.0.0/0 GW:100.10.12.1/24
At the moment all traffic is going out via ISP1. My clients are dialling in using PPP and receive a address from an IP pool
I have a pool named 1MBuncapped with a range 44.48.41.100-44.48.41.200
Now, if userA is a 1MB Uncapped user, I would like to direct traffic out to ISP2 and not ISP1
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Kobus
