We have a 44 mile link up. We replaced on one end a RB532 with a PC based system. We put an SR5 in the PC based system shooting back to the other end which is a RB532 with an R52 in it. We will be eventually be replacing the other end as well. The link came up fine, however our bandwidth dropped significantly. We have a -65 rssi on both ends with CCQ’s of 98% and 98%. I replaced the SR5 with the R52 that was in the RB532 we took down and everything went back to normal. I tried using a different SR5 but the same thing was going on. Is there a known issue with SR5’s connecting to R52’s? We will eventually replace the other end with an SR5 as well. We just need to know in the mean time if there is a known issue so we can prepare for it. Any info would be great. Thanks!!!
SR5 has an amplifier, it has more power. This works in case you have very good signal.
