I have a p2p with 2 routers 532 - ver. 2.9.12 - licenses 5 + extra-channel, with SR5.
In the 2 routers I have activated superchannel in frecuency mode, but when I select a frequency different to the standard (for example 5835) I don’t have link, if for example use 5805 the link works ok.
Which is my problem? Does SR5 support extra-channel feature?
If you do:
/interface wireless info print
you can see all supported features of your card(s). Here is output for SR5:

I also noticed behaviour your are talking about and I just made to connect using 5745 and 5805 in this range. I haven’t tried much higher and lower ranges, I just tried from 5700 to 5800 and some.
Beside supported frequencies, there are some standards, of course:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/802.11#802.11a
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo1200/accsspts/ap120scg/bkscgaxa.htm#49268
So, SR5 in the range I mentioned should work on 5765 and 5785 also. It maybe even works, I haven’t tried so thoroughly, I have to admit that.
Bumping a somewhat old thread with information:
The issue here is the scan list. With superchannel enabled, the number of frequencies you can broadcast is significantly larger than the default scan list.
The scan list essentially says, “Look for radios in this frequency range.” It can be [low]-[high], or [freq1], [freq2], [freq3], or some combination of those.
If you’re using superchannel, you’ll want to make sure the frequency you’re using, or at least the frequency range is specified in the scan-list attribute.
The disadvantage of using a scan-list of, say, ‘5000-6000’ is that it will take a long time for the radio to scan through all the frequencies & find the AP.
