SR5 & XR5 wireless cards

Hi

Have been reading about using XR5 and SR5 cards for setting up p2p wireless links in this forum.

What kind of cards are these ? Can these cards be used in normal intel based pc ?? Are they PCI type cards or some
specific motherboards are required for that ?? What OS is required ?

You may use ‘search’ that should bring a lot of topics about these cards, as well check the manufacturer page.
I recommend RB52 high power wireless cards, that are working great with MikroTik RouterOS.
RouterBOARD11 or RouterBOARD14 adapters from http://www.routerboard.com/ allows to use MiniPCI modules at regular x86 boxes.
