can i just shut off ssh access to our routers . we seem to get a lot
of bogus attempts to login . i then block that ip but the is a pain .
There’s a lot of brute force attacks against SSH these days. They only look for port 22 , so if you move the ssh service to another port they won’t find you. Best defence is a secure username and password though.

you can disable ‘ssh’ service in ‘ip service’.
BTW you have address-list in 2.9 version.
You can create block-list (list in address list) by adding specific IP addresses, which executes specific actions.
