I have enabled SSL connections to my router (to my public IP) to be able to use payments.
But now everybody can access my router login page and also the usermanager page from internet.
Is it possible to enable access from outside just for specific pages, example:
I want to enable access to: https://mydomain.com/user -this page needs to be open for users
Also the page : https://mydoamin.com/user/signup/public_id -needs to be open for users
I want to disable access to: https://mydomain.com -this is my router login page, it doesn’t need to be open for access from internet.
I would also like to disable access to: https://mydoamin.com/userman -this page doesn’t need to be accessed from outside.
Thank you for help
Use firewall and disallow access to ports 80/443 from outside (in-interface=public_interface).
But the users need to have access from outside, just not for all pages.
They need to be able to access the page : https://mydomain.com/user - they need to be able to access it on public ip, because otherwise the trusted SSl certificate will not work( in case they access the page on local ip)
I just want to disable them to access for example the page: https://mydomain.com/userman how do disallow just that page?
So if i want to use paypal payment with user manager i have to leave the router open for ssl connection to signup and user manager pages.
So you are saying that it is not possible to close the connections from outside to routers Webbox page?
Just add your IP to the walled garden and it will work fine from the outside, without SSL.
Edit up and update - you can re-direct the front page of the RB to what ever you like (other than internal address) - you need branding package enabled.
