I have a problem with the SSTP VPN client (dial on demand enabled), it’s not terminating the connection after the idle timeout set in the ppp profile.
To be more specific I have to go as low as 1-3 seconds with the idle timeout value, that it terminates the connection.
5 seconds and more is too much and it doesn’t terminate the connection.
I need a 30-60 seconds idle timeout.
I’ve created a couple of log firewall rules to watch the traffic on the connection and the only traffic is a UDP broadcast (255.255.255.255:5678) every minute.
What could be the problem?
