I just set up a mikrotik SSTP server with a self-signed certificate. I’m using windows 7 as client with “Microsoft own” sstp client methods. It worked after adding the certificate to the trusted root chain within windows… so far so good.
If I open the details in the “active user” dialog I see no entry in the “encoding” section!? My ppp-profile has encryption set to no as it only applies to pptp.
I don’t have any users on SSTP at the moment but the L2TP users show the same thing. When I went and looked at IPSec where the profiles are setup for those I do see Installed SA keys that are incrementing with traffic for the L2TP user.
