I’ve got a question related to SSTP VPN implementation/configuration in RouterOS.
I’m slightly confused by the PPP Profiles to be assigned when setting up SSTP VPN. In the profile configuration, there is an option to turn encryption ‘on’ or ‘off’. My understanding about SSTP is that is will always be encrypted as it is based on HTTPS/SSL.
If the profile dictates that encryption is ‘off’, does that mean that the data sent over the SSTP VPN connection is unencrypted? This is somewhat contradictory to the nature of SSTP.
