SSTP VPN Error 619

I’m trying to setup a an SSTP VPN server for Windows 7/8 clients to use and seem to be getting nowhere. I have installed a publicly trusted certificate and enabled the SSTP server from PPP. For the purposes of testing I have disabled all firewall rules. Whenever I try and connect from a Windows 7 or 8 client I simply get error 619 “the report port was closed because a connection to the remote computer could not be established.” I have confirmed that the same VPN user can login via PPTP so clearly I can communicate with the server. Any advice on how to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated (running /log print displays absolutely nothing about the failed SSTP connection).

Here’s the output of /interface sstp-server server

enabled: yes
port: 1234
max-mtu: 1500
max-mru: 1500
mrru: disabled
keepalive-timeout: 60
default-profile: test_AD
authentication: chap,mschap1,mschap2
certificate: cert1
verify-client-certificate: no
force-aes: no

Hello christopherve7alb,
having the same issue here. The PPTP tunnel works okay, but the SSTP with similar setup just won’t. I also get the Error 619.
Followed nice tut at:

…but still no luck. When connecting, the certificate verification passes OK but then the stupid error 619.
Routerboard 750GL, OS is v6.23, Win7 x64 Pro SP1 as client.
Did you achieve any progress since your last post?
Or anybody else can help?
