SSTP with EoIP

Hi,
I have SSTP vpn between two mikrotiks. I maked vpn with tutorial: https://mum.mikrotik.com/presentations/MM15/presentation_2962_1445240964.pdf
Everything work fine but I have a few qustions.

  1. I make SSTP connection without generating any certificates, it is safe ? ( how it works without certificates !? )
  2. I open dst port 443, protocol tcp, chain: input (no other parameters ) in firewall. It is safe too ? 443 is popular port

  • Make an export in text format settings. Remove private information from the file and post it here.

Why not use wireguard… better than SSTP without certificates

Most likely because, for many, it is easier to configure L2TP / SSTP

Does not need certificate between MikroTik
