There are several folks on here using 1036 with multiple full routing tables (see http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/ccr1036-routing-tables/76584/1)
Perhaps it is something else in your layout causing the issue?
What versions of ROS have you tried?
Personally, I am preparing to place 2x 1036’s in at my core, and so far in the lab I have not had any problems, although I was only chucking around 60k~ routes at a time.
Is it possible to have some type of out of band access or serial console access to the devices, to do more troubleshooting when it freezes?
Is it pure random or can you force a freeze with a particular action?
