Yesterday, all at once, about 40 PPP sessions went stale. A day later, they are still stale.
PPP logins were rolling in as fast as you please, giving my radius
server a good workout, but each and every one of them was getting
immediately disconnected. Here’s what we saw in the system log:
could not add queue: already have such name (6)
So, the PPP sessions went dead, but were not removed. The IP addresses from the pools were not removed. The queues were not removed.
Manually clearing the queues allowed these users to get logged back end, but the stale sessions and ip allocations remain.
Here’s a screenshot of the issue. Notice all the duplicate MAC addresses.

Unfortunately, this is not my box, but am having communications problems with the folks who do run the box. What can I tell them?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
