This is more of a general WISP post than anything but there are some specific MikroTik references in here. i’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but it needed some depth and attention so it’s been on the back burner for a while.
I finally got a basic comparison written of all the major WISP routing designs that we work with and drawings to support them. All of the drawings are full IPv4/IPv6 dual stack.
There are pros and cons to each with some supporting links that have more detail.
