I have noticed that entries stored in the static DNS settings of a Routerboard aren’t ‘visible’ by network users; there must be something I’m doing wrong of course, or not doing, as the case may be
I simply add an entry e.g. server and set the corresponding IP address : 192.168.1.22
The user PC which uses the routerboard as its default gateway and DNS server can’t resolve this entry

Tried flushing the PC’s DNS but to no avail
Is this normal ? Am I missing something ?
