Hi,
I am using Mikrotik as hotspot gateway with Freeradius integration and have some problems with static Ips.
usually our clients are getting their Ip address from Hotspot’s dhcp server as dynamic and they are working properly, but some client mush have to use static IP and If a client pc have static Ip then it can not reach router even authenticated via mac binding. I can see the that client PC at Hotspot Active List as authenticated, But it can not ping router.
In this case, If I check dhcp-server lease status,
all dynamic and working clients’s status are “bound”, but the clients status are “waiting” which have static IP. and it is not working. Sometimes I can see that PCs as “bound” on dhcp-server lease list even they have static IP and this time they are working properly. but mostly their status is “waiting” and not working.
If I add them to dhcp lease via manually same again, sometimes working and mostly not.
How can I use static and dynamic Ips on same hotspot gateway ?
My second question,
I amd using Mikrotik-Recv-Limit and Mikrotik-Xmit-Limit attributes with Freeradius but can not find right attribute for limiting Total byte, is there any attribute for it ?
