Static IP on Internet port not working

Hi Guys,

I have a MikroTik HAP Lite and a Huawei LTE router. The basic wifi setup on the MikroTik is working perfectly, but only if I set the internet port to DHCP.
If I set it to static, there is no internet access.

Setup as follows:
Home AP
MikroTik - IP Range 192.168.1.250 Set as DHCP on WiFi
LTE Router - IP Range 10.0.0.1 Set as DHCP

Static Internet on MikroTik - IP 10.0.0.2
GW 10.0.0.1
DNS - Nothing, not showing on the DHCP setting either.

This settings are the same if I set it to DHCP.

It could be the DNS now I think about it?
Can I set the DNS the same as the GW?

Thanx.

Ok, so today I tried with adding the DNS as 10.0.0.1 and the internet dropped again.
I don’t understand why, the settings are the same as when its DHCP which doesn’t make sense at all.

Maybe your ISP could block IPs that haven’t been assigned yet

You can try to change your mac-address interface to another and looks if you can see this
Can you see in arp router table 10.0.0.1 mac address?
Ping 10.0.0.1 if it doesn’t work you can be block it in L3
Ping 8.8.8.8 if it doesn’t work your gateway isn’t properly set it.
Ping google.com here you have a DNS server set it in your router
