Hello,
Is there a way to prevent rogue PCs from accessing the network by other means than arp-reply? My friend saw another way to do it but does know the configuration. The Mikrotik (750 series model) replied to all static requests (WHO HAS …) as if it had such IP configured. For example, a PC with a static address of 192.168.0.1 sends a broadcast packet and a rotuer replies as if it was used by it generating IP conflict on the PC. How is it possible to configure such a measure? The problem in my network is that the Mikrotik isn’t a gateway device so arp-reply would not work.
Best regards,
Kashim
