I am having a problem with a static route that is ignoring the pref. source. I am trying to create two IP tunnels from a remote site (RB750) into a central router (RB1100). The problem is the remote site has two separate WAN connections. I am trying to create one IP tunnel from each WAN connection. The first tunnel is configured and working fine however the second tunnel would not initiate. To work round the problem I attempted to create the tunnel to a different external IP address at the central site. I have applied a static route on the remote site to force traffic to the second IP address to go via the second WAN connection. I can ping the central site fine from the remote site. I have added the opposite static route to the RB1100 and set the pref. source to the second external IP address. For some reason the RB1100 is ignoring the pref. source and passing the traffic from the normal IP address.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
