I have two RouterOS boxes both on the same subnet, One the default gateway to the internet (MT1), The 2nd a router to an external network (MT2). See http://matthewgreen.id.au/files/quickdiagram.TIF
I have static routes in MT1 for the external network behind MT2 pointing to MT2.
My problem is, according to the bandwidth statistics all data to the external network is going via MT1 as well as MT2, Is this how static routes should behave? MT1 isn’t very powerful, therefor I’m trying to get around putting a high load on it.
