Static WAN set, but...

Setting Routerboard up for client with static IP on WAN (before taking to office to install), and initially had set up dynamic on my network. Set WAN static, shows correct in IP>Addresses. On reboot, however, the old dynamic entry reappears, while static still showing correctly and active.

Can’t test until at client office, but is the dynamic entry showing just because I still have on my network? Will the static “stick” and be functional once at client office?

TIA!

My guess is yes - I bet you’ve still for the DHCP Client enabled on the WAN interface. Don’t forget though to program a default route and DNS servers too, as they will most probably be given out by your DHCP server. Post the config if you want a response that’s not just a guess.

Thanks…coming from Sonicwall/Watchguard worlds, some of this is a bit foreign…I think I see in the config that DHCP is indeed enabled. But rest look ok?
