I have a RB411 and a RB751 set up as WDS /dynamich-mesh and the WDS network is working fine. I have additionally one RB751 that I want to set up as a station (I don’t need any further units in the WDS and I just need a fast and reliable connection to the WDS network)
When I set up the RB751 in station mode to connect to my WLAN (WDS) it connects fine (WLAN1 and Ether port are in brigde) and the units connected to station get’s IP and DNS’s from the main DHCP, so far so good, but for some strange reason any PC’s connected to the station can ping the main router gateway (192.168.0.1) but does not get any internet connection.
I really can’t figure out why. IP and DNS looks good, there is connection all the way to the main router, but no internet connection. I have also tried station-brigde mode, same result. when I connect the RB751, not as a station, but as a third member of the WDS, there is no problem, except that the line is stable and connection sometimes drops for a few second.
Anybody who can give me some ideas why I can’t get the RB751 internet to work when I connect to the WLAN(WDS) in station mode?
