My ISP changed my VDSL2 modem/router few days ago and since then MT is behaving erratically, main problem being the PPPoE connection to the ISP.
In winbox, it shows the connection to the ISP is OK (R), but the router itself can’t reach the Google DNS 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 … I need to disable the PPPoE connection and 1 second later re-enable it, and then the whole network has internet access again.
I was wondering if there is a simple script which I can put to run every few seconds which will probe Gooogle DNS’s and disable & enable a PPPoE interface if Google DNS is unreachable.
