I run a fair sized layer2 network with a bunch of tik devices. We’ve recently started having some issues with one of our back-hauls and as a result it’s been causing a bunch of spanning tree flops from the main back-haul to the redundant.
I was never a concern to monitor the bridge ports on our ccr before, but now with these frequent issues it’s clear I should be monitoring it. I’m not seeing any way to check the last time a port has went from blocking to forwarding. Nor do I see a straight forward way of setting up any sort of monitoring. Am I being blond and missing it?
If anyone has suggestions or could share how they monitor STP on their network I’d appreciate it.
