When using the Alignment tool, regardless of what frequency I select, I’m getting an RX quality on one side but no TX Quality & on the other side I’m not getting a TX or RX Quality. What side is probably the cause & what component is most likely to be the cause? In the past I have gotten an RX and TX Quality on both sides.
If you’re have MT equipment on on side but not the other that will happen. Like if you have a MT as the access point, but a laptop for a client. When you’re looking in Winbox, it will show the signal strength it is hearing from the laptop, but can’t show you what signal the laptop is receiving.
MT ROS on both sides. Identical equipment on both sides. R52H radios and pigtails are newly installed. I think the problem is with one of those components on one side & suspect it is on the side that is getting the RX Quality but would like to be sure before I start climbing and start replacing hardware.
I would think it would be the radio. A goofy pigtail could cause weird issues, but normally I’d expect the signal to be bad in both directions. Glad it’s working.
