Strange behaviour l2tp + ipsec server. Connection fails and router reboots

Hi.

I have mikrotik RB750Gr3 with RouterOS 6.42.9.

I set up l2tp server over IP/Sec using this manual https://github.com/bomsi/l2tp-ipsec-tutorial

The problem is when I try to connect to mikrotik connection is established. Everything is working until I try to use Internet. If I try to load the tunnel with traffic (even browsing the internet) connection fails and router reboots.

In the log where is just this line “memory - system, error, critical - router was rebooted without proper shutdown”

Can someone please help me and tell at least where to look for solution?

Also same mikrotik is configured as l2tp client and connects to another office. Can it be interference of some kind?

I’m not alone with this. I’ve found exect same threads in the Internet with the same problem (threads in the same language). People just don’t post in this threads.

What should I try, what is the possible cause of the problem?

I have an office and vpn connections should go through that office. I’m not able to make this happen because connections make router to reboot without proper log, unexpected.
