I am using two 433AH boards, with XR5 5.2/5.8 GHz wireless cards. WDS link. The path is 10 miles, in a rural area mountain area. I am runing 3.18 OS and this there isn’t more than 1 meg of traffic on this link. Ping times are 1-2ms. Signal strenghts on both sides are -72, SNR 22, CCQ 100%/99%, Pthroughput 10123 I have set the connection speed down to 12M/12M. The Strange part about this, is that for serveral min periods, I can’ t pass traffic or ping accross the link. When this happens, I don’t lose registation. The signal strenght goes from -72 to -55dBm and the SNR goes from 22 to 50 and CCQ stays at 100/99, Pthroughput stays at 10300. I have been at both sides of the link, and I see the same thing. It might come back in a min, 5 mins, or 5 seconds. I have tryed changing frequencies, I had tryed differance cards. This is also happening to a 25 mile link. Does anyone seen this before.
