strange CPU activity

Hello all,

I have an RB1100 running v5.6 reporting 100% CPU for a while.

No excessive traffic, all layer7 protocols disabled, nothing budged it.

Have attached screenshot from winbox as also can’t launch a terminal either by ssh or winbox (screen shot also attached).

I thought the little green box at the top right corner also was a graphic view of cpu, and it’s tootling away happily…

Any body know if any bugs or if there’s any way to get more info, every thing appears to be operating okay apart from CPU reporting…

Run “/tool profiler” to see what is consuming all the resources.

console is running 87%! Any way to restart?

Take a supout.rif and reboot. Consider sending it to support@mikrotik.com with an official support ticket - the console shouldn’t be consuming that many resources.

They will, however, likely tell you to upgrade to 5.7…
