Hi,
We were running a VPN Aggregator with 200+ Users and B/W Utlisation of around 300-400 mbps average on a CCR1009 for a long time. But as user is growing, we changed the Hardware to CCR2116-12G-4S+. The connectivity is - CCR1036 → CCR2116 via 1G SFP.
Now, the issue is, when give load to the new H/W we see packet loss of 1% to 8% between the 1036 and 2116. B/W is < 150 mbps and CPU <15-20%. While the setup is running, we connected one Cat6 cable between 1036 and 2116 with a private IP, no loss between them then. As soon as we switch the live load from SFP to ether link packet loss started happening on the ether port both on the previous private Ip as well as the live ips.
We changed the H/W but same issue. We also see much TX drops on 2116 on SFP port as well as ether port. We changed all the L1 media involved like Cable, SFPs, Port but same issue.
Considering the powerful H/W of 2116 this is a very strange problem which is still not solved. ROS is fully updated.
Any inputs are highly appreciated.
