Strange Tx/Rx Rate notation in wireless tables.

Hi,

I have 65 rb133c’s running as clients on a mix of rb532a and rb333 AP’s.

If I look in the registration tab of the Wireless Tables window in winbox and look at the ´Tx/Rx Rate´ column I see usually readings like:
48Mbps/24Mbps or 52Mbps/48Mbps or whatever speeds…

But now I have one rb133c client on a 532A AP that both shows eachother in the same column as follows:

36Mbps/2/48Mbps/2 is the client in the AP
48Mbps/2/48Mbps/2 is the AP in the client.

What is this ¨/2¨ doing? I have never seen this before, and still do not see it in any other unit?

Anybody any clue?

rgds.

/2 means divide by two. That is, you are using 10MHZ spacing as against the standard 20MHZ.
/4 means divide by four, i.e, 5MHZ spacing

Ah, OK. That makes sense..
Yes, indeed. These two units are the only ones running the 10mhz wide channels. That´s why I didn’t see it on the other units.

Thanks a lot! Yet again learned something here! :sunglasses:
