strange wlan-problems (6.4)

Hey Guys,

Maybe you can give me some hints on my very very strange wifi-problem.

Since a few days i’m no longer able to connect to my mikrotik-wifi with my dell notebook. All other devices we have in our apartment works well (iPhone, iPad …)

I always get some very strange error messages in logging when i try to connect with my notebook like this:

So i don’t think that my wireless card in my notebook does have some kind of error because the wifi-connection works on every other place (working company, cafes, mc donalds …)

in an other post i found at google there was an hint to reduce the tx-power (maybe to near to the ap - my router is under my working table so the notebook is directly above - maybe 30-40cm distant) but that also does not help anything.

as an additional information: my notebook is equipped with an intel centrino advanced-n 6205 chipset.

So actually i’m at one’s wits’ end so maybe you have any hints or in the best case some solutions for me

kind Regards
Florian

when you see in the registration table when you connect. as it seems you are connected for some time. Check signal levels.

Hey,

First: Thanks for reply.

I’m not shure if i understood this correctly. You mean to check signal levels exactly at this moment when my notebook is connected?

Kind Regards

when the notebook is connected i see following signal strengh in screenshot (attachment).

Hey Guys,

So upgrade to 6.5 solved the problem without changing anything at the config.
