Hello there,
I am a novice with a mikrotik`s routerOS.
Desperately try to set this e-mail part of the tools in order to send mails when the main ISP connectivity is off. But I am stuck in the beggining.
Try about a 100 times with smtp.gmail server and 465 and 587 ports but nothing helps - the mikrotik does have an internet, DNS are ok, have no any restrictions. But connection with smtp.gmail.com could not be done, try with another mail - smtp.abv.bg (i have an e-mail there also) - same errors. I cannot describe the reason why it does not works - I use a Thunderbird on my PC without any problems. I have an google app password created and put it into the mail-settings in routerOS (7.19.1).
Any help will be appreciated.

port=587 server=smtp.gmail.com tls=starttls
