Stuck on 6.42.1 - cannot upgrade packages - can you help?

Hello everyone.

Could you help me - my core router (RM3011) is stuck on 6.42.1 and I cannot upgrade it to the newest release.

I download/reboot as per normal - the files go into the root folder a-okay. But on reboot the router does not update the firmware.

I have confirmed I have no spare .npk in the root directory. Package list is as follows - note that ipv6 package has been disabled - and I installed it as a separate package during a system test. Is this the issue - I have tried de-activiating and uninstalling the packages but cannot get to work.

[xxxxxxxxxx] /system> package print
Flags: X - disabled

Did you use the appropriate package ? (ARM)
If you go to System->Packages->Check for updates, what happened?

thanks for your replay.

hello,

i have the same problem. After Upgrade, alle files would be donwloded but after the rebbot nothing happens.

Thanks for your replay.

Thank you for the reply.

Yep, I downloaded the packages direct from the upgrade option on the main menu.

Downloads a-okay and reboots, but does not change the version.

Is something strange going on as I have two copies of ipv6 installed - the combined package, and the separate package?

Can I get back to normal?

Thank you

Matt

Any update?
I have same issue

This was resolved by backing up then Reformatting NAND and flashing latest firmware through net install on a windows machine.
