i always wondered why miKrotiK use those super hard finicky SIM slots
this is not the 1st time i get a stuck sim on LTE units
on the LHG LTE KIT i was able to open it and remove the SIM
but on the wAP i did not see how to open it
any ideas?
…needle or pincer, precision toolset ?..pince/pull the SIM’s edge to lodge it out of its holder. On my LHGG, there is not much force needed.
i was able to disassemble the whole thing, you just need to pull the center tab on the front cover and the whole thing comes out ( board with antennas )
the bas thing about the sim card holder is that you can push the sim card much more deep than the required position, that makes a NO sim card error in the mikrotik dashboard,
i wish mikrotik used better quality sim card slots
