stupid traceroute prob

hi there,
we found strange problem somewhere arround our router. Every time we traceroute some destination we see some loss at the second hope or smt. strange goes on, such as follows:

At the same time, there no problem with pings. There no packet loss.
And, at last, if router tracerouted from everywhere, there no timeouts at the last hope before the router.

Any suggestions?

Does this happen during every traceroute? Check your firewall rules.

every traceroute
ping seems good, but some loss.

the real problem is that this is not my router, it’s custommers. and i have no any idea what’s goin’ on, what’s wrong. all our routers does not problems like that. it’s first time in my live i see situation like that. and i wondering what shuld be the problem.

suggestions?

If you traffic flows fine I wouldn’t worry about it. They must have some kind of firewall rule to block trace routes or something of the sort.

i forgot to tell U that there is a wireless kink betweenmy fouter and customers one.
