can we have a ‘SU’ (superuser) account instead of admin?
advantage…as follows:
SU will do all the configs and set the skins with the default user to be “admin” with his respective skin.
end user will login with admin…
SU will be system integrator login.
can mikrotik work on this idea?
You can make a new group that has similar functions - just disable the “policy” parameter, so the superuser can’t make himself or others as admin.
yes I am doing that but when the webfig page is loaded by default it shows the ‘admin’ name in the user box.
I want that to display a different name…
I am sure you are removing admin user from the ros in the beginning of setup. Then it is completely safe to keep that as default user field value on the logon page.
